This letter is a letter of appreciation. In June, I had emergency colostomy surgery at your hospital performed by Dr. Zavadzkas. From what I have been told, Dr. Zavadzkas saved my life. I want you to know from someone who was very sick at the time that the care I received was very special to me. The nurses who cared for me 24/7 were without exception – understanding – considerate – helpful – funny – fun – efficient – compassionate – gentle – they were all of that to me – and more. I just wanted to let you know that the care I received was very special to me – and taken for granted. I hope you will share this letter with them. They are a very special group.
