About Dr. Ramsey

A native of Jacksonville, NC, Randle W. Ramsey, DO, double majored in biology and biochemistry at North Carolina State University. Continuing his education at NCSU, he earned a Master of Science in Physiology while working at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and volunteering as an EMT. He went on to pursue his medical degree at the Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia, graduating with honors.

Dr. Ramsey is a Jacksonville, NC, native who is proud to provide orthopedic care to his community. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family fishing, hunting, surfing and traveling.

Medical Interests Areas of Interest:

Dr. Ramsey specializes in adult orthopedic reconstructive surgery with expertise in hip, knees and shoulder preservation, as well as partial and total joint replacement and complex revision surgery. His experience includes rapid recovery and outpatient techniques. He takes a minimally invasive direct anterior approach for total hip replacements, which allows for a faster recovery by sparing muscle.
