Carteret's Preparedness and More Visitation Changes

“Since we initiated our Emergency Preparedness Plan and Command Center, the Carteret team has spent over 1,000 hours to refine already existing pandemic plans to ensure our community, staff and providers are safe” stated Harvey Case, Carteret Health Care President. “I am pleased to say that we are taking similar approaches and steps as other experts, such as Mayo Clinic, to handle a surge of patients.”

Some Outpatient Services Move to CHC Imaging Center

Lab draws, radiology tests, pre-operative interview and tests and EKG's outpatient services have moved to the CHC Imaging Center located adjacent to the hospital at 3402 Arendell Street. Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM:

Expanded Visitation Restrictions March 24, 2020

For your safety, effective Tuesday, March 24, no visitors will be allowed in the hospital until further notice with limited exceptions.

Visitation Changes at Carteret Health Care

Carteret Health Care will secure accesses and have two entrances open, the main lobby and emergency department, for patients and visitors. All others will be secured. The main lobby will be open from 6AM until 7PM. Anyone who enters Carteret Health Care will be screened for respiratory signs and symptoms.
